Here are some common questions about the Snowbound 2026 Metro Atlanta Ski Getaway trip.
Each family will submit a $200 deposit to secure their spots. Families riding the bus will submit a $250 deposit. All deposit due by November 15, 2025.
Registration and deposits can be made by clicking the "Registration" link on the main menu.
No refunds available once deposit made, but families may transfer their registration to other families.
For Hotel refund/cancellation policies, please contact the host hotel DreamMore Resort directly.
No alternate dates guaranteed due to weather dependency. Travel insurance recommended.
Each family is responsible for arranging their own lodging for the trip. The host hotel is Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN. Our scheduled dates are February 20–22, 2026. Click on the hotel reservation link.
You MUST have purchased a trip registration to utilize the special Snowbound hotel rates. If you do not have a valid registration and you have reserved a room, your hotel booking will be cancelled.
Only the Sunday morning (February 22) group breakfast is included with family registration.
Snacks and light fare will also be provided during the Saturday evening (February 21) events — Kids Movie Night, Teen Firepit Party, and the Cocoa & Cocktails gathering for adults.
Please check with your hotel regarding any available breakfast options, as all other meals will be at each family’s own expense
Chartered bus transportation is limited, but available on a first-come, first-served basis during registration. Once the chartered bus reaches capacity, waitlist reservations will be accepted for the possibility of adding a second bus. Chartered bus riders will have service to/from DreamMore Resort to Ober mountain on Saturday.
Families are welcome to drive their own vehicles if they prefer.
Note: Self drivers may NOT take the charter bus to/from Ober mountain, it is a 25-minute drive from DreamMore Resort to Ober mountain.
Unfortunately, this option is not available. All bus payments are for roundtrip.
The bus is scheduled to depart from Pigeon Forge at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, with an estimated arrival time in Atlanta of 5:00 p.m., depending on traffic and route conditions.
This family-friendly trip is perfect for all ages and skill levels, including beginners in skiing or snowboarding. Enjoy a fun-filled winter getaway together in a beautiful (and hopefully) snowy wonderland.
Please refer to our itinerary. We are excited to offer engaging Saturday evening activities for all ages, along with a group breakfast on Sunday. Additional optional activities include the Friday Pirates Dinner and Show ($), Fun Pack Gaming Wristbands ($), and access to hotel amenities.
Both trip and hotel check-in will be at 4pm on Friday, February 20, 2026. Location details will be provided when available.
The Friday night activity is optional. Families are invited to attend the 6pm Pirates Dinner and Show—an action-packed performance featuring pirates, acrobatics, live animals, and a four-course feast. Admission is $79 for ages 10 and up, $42 for ages 3–9, and free for children under 3.
It is suggested that families pack warm, layered clothing, winter coats, hats, gloves, and waterproof boots for February’s chilly weather in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN. Include essentials like lip balm, medications, and chargers. Bring swimwear for indoor pools, and consider packing travel games, snacks, and extra layers for outdoor activities and family comfort.
